These Terms of Use and Conditions for Registration (“Terms”) apply to all visitors and users of www.myformulas.net (the “Website”), whether or not they have a member account.

1. Terms of Use (All Visitors)

1.1. Purpose and scope

The calculators, formulas, calculation results, tables, references, graphics and other materials available on the Website (collectively, the “Content”) are provided for general reference, education and engineering design support only.

The Content does not constitute professional engineering advice, and its availability does not establish any professional consultancy or engineering services relationship between the Website owner and any user.

1.2. Responsibility for verification

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy and completeness of the input data you provide.
• Determining whether the calculation methods, assumptions, units, design codes, code editions, National Annexes, partial factors and limits used by the Website are appropriate for your intended application.
• Independently checking the accuracy, completeness and reasonableness of all calculation methods, intermediate steps and results before relying on them.
• Ensuring that any design, drawing, report, submission, construction activity or decision based on the Content is properly reviewed and verified.

All results must be reviewed by a suitably competent person. Where required by applicable law or regulations, the relevant design or work must also be reviewed, approved or certified by a Professional Engineer or other appropriately authorised professional.

1.3. No warranty

The Website and its Content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

The Website owner makes no express or implied warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, suitability or availability of the Website or its Content, or their compliance with any particular design code, standard, regulation or project requirement.

Calculations and other Content may contain errors, simplifications, assumptions or limitations. Codes, standards, regulations and recommended practices may also change after the Content has been prepared. The Website owner does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure or error-free operation of the Website.

1.4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Website owner, LM.Hoang, shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the use of, inability to use, or reliance on the Website or its Content, including any calculation, formula, method or result.

This exclusion applies, where legally permissible, to direct or indirect loss or damage, loss of profit or data, rework costs, project delays, personal injury and property damage.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability or right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

1.5. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify the Website owner against reasonable losses, liabilities, claims and costs, including reasonable legal costs, arising from third-party claims to the extent caused by your unlawful use of the Website, misuse of the Content, or breach of these Terms.

This clause does not apply to the extent a claim results from the Website owner’s own acts or omissions.

1.6. Printed and saved outputs

Printed, downloaded or saved calculation outputs may include the notice “For reference only”.

You must not remove or alter this notice, or present any output as having been checked, certified, approved or issued by the Website owner unless the Website owner has expressly confirmed this in writing.

You remain responsible for independently verifying all outputs before using them in any professional or project-related document.

1.7. Intellectual property and permitted use

The Website’s original content, software, calculation engines, graphics and layout are owned by LM.Hoang or used under applicable permissions and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use and reproduce calculation results for your own engineering work, including in project calculations, reports, drawings and submissions, subject to appropriate independent verification and any applicable third-party rights.

Except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law, you must not copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse engineer, scrape, resell or republish the Website’s software, calculation engines or original Content, or access the Website by automated means beyond normal permitted use.

Third-party materials, engineering standards, codes, trademarks and references remain subject to their respective owners’ rights and applicable licence terms. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience and do not imply ownership of, or endorsement by, those third parties.

1.8. Acceptable use and availability

You must not misuse the Website, attempt to compromise its security, interfere with its operation, overload its systems, gain unauthorised access to its data or systems, or use the Website for any unlawful purpose.

The Website owner may modify, restrict, suspend or discontinue any part of the Website at any time, subject to applicable law. The Website owner does not guarantee that any particular feature or service will remain available.

2. Conditions for Registration (Free Member Account)

By ticking the checkbox labelled “I agree with the Conditions for Registration” and creating a member account, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Conditions and the Terms of Use in Section 1.

2.1. Member calculations are for reference only

Detailed calculations and additional features available to registered members are provided for reference, educational and design-support purposes only.

You are responsible for checking the input data, calculation methods, assumptions and results, and for independently verifying their accuracy, completeness and suitability before use.

The Website owner does not guarantee the correctness or suitability of any calculation or result.

2.2. Professional judgement and verification

You must not rely on the Website as the sole basis for any engineering design, construction, safety-related or financial decision.

You must arrange for the results to be reviewed by a suitably competent person and, where required by applicable law or regulations, by a Professional Engineer or other appropriately authorised professional.

You remain responsible for ensuring that all designs and decisions comply with applicable laws, regulations, standards and project-specific requirements.

2.3. Free service and availability

Membership is provided free of charge.

The Website owner does not guarantee the continued availability of member features, technical support, uninterrupted access or error-free operation.

Member features may be modified, restricted, suspended or withdrawn, subject to applicable law. Registration does not create a contract for professional engineering, consultancy or other paid services.

2.4. Registration information and account activation

You must provide accurate registration information and an email address that you control.

Your account will be activated only after you verify your email address by following the activation link sent to that address.

Each person may maintain one member account unless the Website owner expressly permits otherwise.

If your registration information changes, please inform the Website owner through the contact form so that it can be kept accurate.

2.5. Account security

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and taking reasonable steps to protect your account.

You must notify the Website owner through the Website’s contact form if you suspect unauthorised access to or use of your account.

The Website owner may take reasonable steps to secure, restrict or recover an account where necessary to protect the account, the Website or other users.

2.6. Suspension and deletion of accounts
